SYDNEY, 16th March, 2020: The Tax Institute recognises the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused widespread concern across our communities.
We continue to closely monitor the situation, watching and adapting our compliance measures closely against Federal and State Government advice.
Protecting the health and wellbeing of staff and members remains our priority. We will take all necessary health precautionary measures to ensure our teams and members remain safe.
In line with the most recent advice on events and mass gatherings we are currently reviewing all upcoming face-to-face workshops, lectures and events. Where face-to-face events are proceeding, health precautionary measures will be in place to protect the health and wellbeing of members, guests and our team. These are detailed below*.
The next exam week at The Tax Institute is scheduled for 18 May. The Tax Institute will continue to monitor and review Federal and State Government advice and will continue to work closely with students and advise accordingly on arrangements.
The Tax Institute is currently working on a range of resources to help our members during this challenging period.
