Prime Minister, John Howard has once again failed to take action to a request by the President of the Taxation Institute of Australia to review looming income tax return lodgement deadlines and penalty dates and take into consideration a proposal by the Tax Institute of a blanket extension to all lodgement deadlines for 8 weeks from 17 May.
