Value shifting is ridiculously complex and the law is both highly theoretical and vague in its application.

The focus of this seminar was entirely devoted to simplifying these concepts and examining the practicalities of value shifting. This was done firstly by explaining the conceptual ideas which underlie value shifting, and then providing checklists which show how to tackle value shifting problems in practice.
