Moving on with Service Trusts: The final ruling

In June 2005 the Australian Taxation Office issued a draft ruling regarding service trusts. On 20 April, after extensive consultation with professional and industry groups, the final ruling was issued. In these seminar materials, Bill Thompson examines the final ruling, outlines where it differs from the draft ruling and previous practice, and discusses whether service trusts are still an effective vehicle to utilise.
