Small to medium enterprises are increasingly looking to take advantage of offshore opportunities for their businesses. This may often start with relatively small scale exporting ventures overseas that gradually expand into significant offshore operations as businesses mature.

This event covered the typical tax and commercial issues that need to be addressed when Australian SME clients plan to expand offshore. It included a detailed case study exploring expansion into China and the US which highlighted the practical matters involved in guiding clients through the complex area.
