Published Date: 1 Jun 2011

The level of M&A activity currently taking place in the SME arena requires tax advisors to not only understand the issues, risks and opportunities involved but to be able to add value and manage tax risk.

This roadshow focused on transactional activity in the SME space and took delegates through the lifecycle of a takeover transaction. This program addressed various current tax issues in the M&A sphere, from the perspective of both the vendor and purchaser. The presentation reviewed issues applying to a broad range of taxpayers, including privately held groups, listed entities and individuals.

This event was also run in Brisbane on the 17th May, Perth on the 18th May, Melbourne on the 24th May and Adelaide on the 25th May.
