Often advisors are asked to come up with the most tax effective structures. Trusts have been at the forefront of our minds for many years however, is this still the case following the introduction of Division 6? This event discussed the additional responsibilities placed on the trustee and the referred responsibility on their advisors due to various tax issues over a lifecycle of a discretionary trust.
